By Schiffmacher Champagne Sabel
Slightly traditional, somewhat ceremonial, but above all, sabring is a really fun and stylish way to open a sparkling wine bottle. And it gets even more stylish, artful even, with a By Schiffmacher Champagne Sabel from Homey's! This Champagne sabel lets you uncork your bottle even more in style thanks to the unique designs by tattoo great Henk Schiffmacher himself.
Sabering involves knocking the cork and top part of a, in most cases, bottle of champagne. In earlier times this was done with the backs of extremely sharp sabers; today a champagne sabel is always blunt.
A fancy handle of elegant burl wood and a curved and polished stainless steel blade, very nicely finished with a typical Schiffmacher design. The keycord hole is enriched with an "Alleman end," a hand-knotted ornament often hung on the clapper of a bell. The complete design makes the champagne sabel a wonderful gift, to be given or received, but always fun to use! As such, the sabel is brought in a beautiful black gift box with gold accents.
