Set of chef's knife, bread knife, paring knife, and cutting board
We use knives every day. But a knife only becomes a favorite when it fits perfectly in our hands. The knives in the Sensory Cooking series are inspired by how visually impaired users cut. Their approach emphasizes the importance of touch, resulting in knives that enhance the sense of touch in our hands.
The result? Knives that feel like an extension of your hand—so intuitive that you could even use them without looking.
The shape and structure of the cutting board were developed with the sense of touch as a starting point, ensuring the design perfectly reflects how we naturally move and handle kitchen utensils. This cutting board is designed for intuitive use. The sense of touch is central, inspired by the way blind people cook. Their keen sense of perception helps us interact more consciously with food and ourselves.
The open space at the bottom is specially designed to safely store your knife, with the blade facing away from your fingers to prevent accidents. This isn't just about functionality—it's about creating a safer, more intuitive experience for everyone.
